Each counselling session is 50 to 60 minutes in duration and can take place either online or in person.
Payment is required upfront before the session begins. Clients will receive an invoice with the banking details attached before each session, and payment can be made via EFT (electronic funds transfer) or cash on the day of your session.
Please note that my rates are in line with medical aid rates; however, this is a cash practice, which means that you pay the practice by cash or Bank transfer, thereafter your medical aid will reimburse you once you submit your claim. You will be issued with an invoice for submission.
The session fees are as follows:
Personality Assessment / R 1 500
A variety of personality assessments are available depending on specific needs. Personality assessments provide insight and understanding of one’s drive and motivation in line with their personality. How they interact with others, how they make decisions and even solve problems.
Screening Assessment / R 500
Used to screen any abnormal functioning, such as personality, mood, depression or anxiety disorders. Please note that these are not diagnostic.
Full IQ/Cognitive Assessment / R 2 500
Cognitive/IQ assessments allow insight to the strengths and weaknesses of cognitive domains and allow a full-scale IQ to be measured. IQ assessments are often used to understand certain types of intelligence and how one may function in their environment.
Aptitude Assessment /R 1 500
Strengths & weaknesses (abilities) in line with the subject and career choice.
Specific Learning Difficulty Assessments / R 1 500
Brain dominance, learning styles and screening for potential learning difficulties/ disabilities
ADHD / Behavioural Screening / R 1 500
Special School Placement Assessments / R 2 500
Special school placement assessments are designed to assess what type of school a child will best be suited for. This assessment will determine whether your child should be in mainstream or remedial schooling, and can be conducted to facilitate the decision on transferring your child between schools.
School Readiness Assessments / R 1 500
These assessments are aimed at Grade R learners in order to assess whether they are ready to enter primary school, and their strengths and weaknesses in this regard are highlighted.

This includes assessment of personality, brain hemisphere dominance, study habits, study skills, observation and study skills guidance. The assessment should take approximately 1-1.5 hours and includes an interview, feedback session and report. This assessment is aimed at assisting students in finding the best way to study for their personality.
Concessions / R 1 500
A concession assessment is a formal evaluation that helps determine whether a student requires additional academic support or accommodations to perform to the best of their ability. These assessments are often recommended for learners who experience barriers such as learning difficulties, emotional challenges, or physical conditions that impact their academic performance.
